Description: Thirteen flowers on two closely arranged inflorescences; sepals yellow-cream central two-thirds lightly scattered with irregular occellus burgundy markings; petals entirely recurved, yellow-cream, covered densely with burgundy irregular occellus markings, margins crispate; lip fleshy, midlobe semi mobile, cream densely spotted burgundy; column cream lightly overlaid light green centrally becoming light yellow apically spotted burgundy, anther cap yellow cream; substance medium; texture matte, lip glossy. Stanhopea haseloffiana, award 20142022, has been determined to be Stanhopea haseloffiana by SITF (Sept 2014).

Description: Twelve flowers on one 42.0 cm inflorescence and two immature inflorescences; dorsal sepal slightly reflexed, golden yellow lightly spotted burgundy; lateral sepals golden yellow; petals reflexed, golden yellow two large dark burgundy spots basally, few burgundy spots centrally; hypochile yellow overlaid orange with a large, very dark burgundy eyes on each side; mesochile and epichile cream finally spotted burgundy on ventral surface; column cream, centrally light green, finely spotted burgundy on basal two-thirds, anther cap translucent white revealing pale yellow pollineum; substance firm; texture waxy; strongly fragrant mint chocolate.
